How to update or republish your site after making changes

By the end of this doc, you'll be able to:

1. Prepare your project changes before republishing
2. Open the Update live site panel and review your site's health
3. Choose the right publishing destination for your update
4. Publish your changes to your live site
5. Check that your updates appear correctly on your live URL

Before You Begin

• A site that you've already published with Relume Publish.
• Changes in your project that are ready to go live.

How to Update Your Live Site

1. Make your changes in your project.
2. Review your changes to make sure they're ready to go live.
3. Click Publish in the top-right corner.

1. Check the Update live site panel when it opens. It shows who last published the site and a summary of your site's health.
2. Review any flagged issues in the site health summary.
3. Select your publishing destination. If both Staging and Production are available, choose Production to update your live website.

1. Click Publish site to publish to your selected destination.
2. Wait for publishing to finish.
3. Open your live URL and check that your changes appear correctly.

Publish to Staging first when you're making bigger changes. Then you can preview everything on a test version of your site before it goes live on Production.

If your changes don't show up straight away, try a hard refresh of your browser (Cmd + Shift + R on Mac or Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows) to clear the cached version of the page.
