How Collections Work
A collection holds one type of content, such as blog posts.
A collection only appears on your site once it's connected to a section, such as a blog list. One collection can fill as many sections as you need.
Choose the Right Collection Type
Each type, such as Blog, Changelog, Portfolio or Client Work, comes with its own fields. For example, a blog has title, author and summary fields. Fields can't be changed for now, so pick the type that best fits your content.
Create a Collection in the CMS
- Click the CMS icon in the top-right toolbar.
- Click + in the top-right corner of the Collections panel.
- Select a collection type.

- Click Continue.
- Enter a name for your collection.
- Switch on Create draft content to have Relume AI add content.
- Click Create collection.

Relume also creates a template page for the collection. Next, connect it to a section.
Show a Collection on a Page
Add a New CMS Section
- Click Insert in the left sidebar.
- Click the CMS tab.
- Choose a category, such as Content Feed / Listing or Projects / Portfolio.

Connect an Existing Section
Use this for list sections already on your page, including on sites built before CMS launched.
- Select the section on the canvas.
- Click Choose a collection in the CMS settings in the right panel.
Only sections that can show CMS content have these settings, with the message "Connect a collection and the list fills itself."
- Select a collection, or create a new one (see step 6 above).
Choose What a Section Shows
With a CMS section selected, use these settings in the right panel:
- Display item — how many items show, such as your 3 latest posts
- Sort — their order, such as Newest first
